Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Rehab Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN Inpatient Rehab to join our interdisciplinary team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based patient-centered care while enjoying a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio.
Our unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from various conditions and injuries, including amputation, spinal cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis. You will work closely with the Medical Director, Hospitalist, and therapy team to promote teamwork and accountability, and model a commitment to HCA's mission/vision/values of "Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life."
Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour inpatient therapeutic care to patients recovering from various conditions and injuries.
- Work closely with the Medical Director, Hospitalist, and therapy team to promote teamwork and accountability.
- Model a commitment to HCA's mission/vision/values of "Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life."
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
- BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
