Job Summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Surgical Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in a hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
