Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Surgical Services team at Chatham Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
