Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Maternity Care Center team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate and implement care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting concerns or near misses.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
