Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our Surgical Services team at Chatham Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical setting.
