Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Allegany College of Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to our student-athletes, including risk management, injury prevention, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to prevent athletic injuries
  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with coaches and other athletic staff to ensure a safe and healthy athletic environment
  • Maintain accurate records of athletic injuries and treatment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest athletic training techniques and best practices
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
  • At least one year of experience in an athletic setting
  • Current certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
