Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Solutions Consultant with expertise in the Provider ecosystem to support our Sales team in acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical proficiency, sales insight, and a deep understanding of healthcare data. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving revenue through impactful demonstrations and a comprehensive understanding of client use cases.
- Validating the accuracy and value of Definitive's data assets, primarily utilizing SQL.
- Collaborating with sales representatives as subject matter experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with Sales Executives to facilitate opportunity closure.
- Demonstrating healthcare experience in evaluating and analyzing various metrics within Definitive Healthcare data sets.
- Creating data extracts using SQL and other analytical tools as necessary.
- Identifying outliers and trends within data sets.
- Addressing unique client business challenges that may not have standard solutions within our product offerings.
- Presenting insights and analyses to clients and prospects in both in-person and virtual settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Medical Informatics, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Experience with Medicare and/or Commercial Medical Claims and Prescription Claims data.
- 2-10 years of experience in complex data management (Big data experience is a plus).
- 2-10 years of experience in analyzing healthcare performance metrics.
- Understanding of data requirements in the Provider ecosystem (Hospitals, Health Systems, Post-Acute care settings).
- Familiarity with medical terminology (DRG, ICD, HCPCS/CPT, NDC).
- Proficient in SQL (DataBricks preferred).
- Advanced skills in Excel; experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik.
- Ability to articulate the significance of solutions to business needs.
- Proven success in working independently and collaboratively.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to present technical topics to business audiences, both virtually and in-person.
- Exceptional critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting, particularly in the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of Medical Economics or Healthcare Performance Indicators.
- Experience with EMR/HMR data systems such as Cerner, Epic, etc.
- Previous experience working with Hospitals, Health Systems, or Post-Acute care facilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Other programming skills: R, Python.
- Experience with modern Data Analytics/Business Intelligence tools.
- Analysis and forecasting of medical cost trends to support healthcare data sales cycles.
