Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Ice-O-Matic, a leading manufacturer of ice machines, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize costs, drive supplier performance, and support the company's overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the supply chain landscape.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with strategic suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational factors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the strategic sourcing process.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's supply chain resilience and continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, quality, and finance, to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP or CPIM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and new product development project management, with a focus on strategic buying in a complex environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost savings, process improvements, and supplier performance enhancements.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating complex contracts and agreements with suppliers across multiple categories and geographies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and drive and own projects to completion.
  • Proficiency in procurement software systems and tools (e.g., QAD, SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

The annual base salary for this position is $75,000.00 - $105,000.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to the base salary this position is eligible for an annual profit-sharing bonus.
