Job Overview

JT4, LLC is in search of a knowledgeable Physical Security Analyst. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of physical security measures, managing investigations, and ensuring thorough documentation of activities.

The Physical Security Analyst plays a vital role in upholding compliance and operational success within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and facilitation abilities, be adept at guiding personnel on company protocols, and have a strong understanding of documentation processes to safeguard sensitive information.

JT4 specializes in providing engineering and technical support to various western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, commonly referred to as J-Tech II. Our mission is to develop and sustain realistic integrated test and training environments, preparing our nation's combat aircraft, weapon systems, and air crews for current missions and future global challenges.

**This position is not eligible for telework**

Key Responsibilities

Deliver administrative and personnel security assistance to the unit manager and security team.

The responsibilities include:
  • Executing daily administrative tasks to support the site security department
  • Liaising with the clearance granting agency regarding the status of clearances and periodic re-investigations for personnel
  • Securing certification of existing clearance levels for personnel and prospective hires from the appropriate customer/agency sponsor
  • Issuing security badges to authorized personnel and visitors
  • Maintaining logs and records of issued badges and related information
  • Organizing initial, periodic, and exit briefings, notifying supervisors and personnel of schedules
  • Coordinating with personnel for timely submission of documents for initial clearances and periodic re-investigations; conducting fingerprinting as required
  • Assisting in facilitating security briefings for individuals or groups as necessary
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities

Each employee is required to read, comprehend, and implement the operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements outlined in all plans, procedures, and policies relevant to their role.

Work Environment

This position involves typical office work with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be required, along with constant sitting and computer use, and regular visual and auditory communication for routine interactions. Maintaining mental alertness is essential.

Routine travel to remote work locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

Military or technical training complemented by at least one year of relevant experience in the personnel security field, along with formal training such as completion of the Industrial Security Management Course. Familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) regulations concerning all aspects of Personnel Security is required. A strong understanding of site-specific procedures and security requirements is essential. The role demands a high level of accuracy in all aspects of personnel security.

Furthermore, a Physical Security Analyst must possess the following qualifications:
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in operating personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software, along with database management experience
  • Familiarity with mainframe computer terminals, laminating machines, and professional cameras
  • Eligibility for and maintenance of a government security clearance
  • A valid, state-issued driver's license.
Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $66,000 to $84,564.48 annually.

The salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role. JT4 LLC considers various factors such as responsibilities, candidate experience, education/training, key skills, internal equity, and market conditions when making an offer.
