Position Summary

The Housekeeping Team Member is responsible for the daily maintenance and cleanliness of the property’s shared and public spaces. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests through exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory levels and inform supervisors when supplies are running low.
  • Perform cleaning duties in bathhouses, laundry facilities, recreation areas, and other designated locations.
  • Prepare cabins and rental units for incoming guests by ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in common areas to meet company expectations.
  • Monitor and report on cleaning supply inventory.
  • Assist maintenance staff and collaborate with other team members as directed.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in shared spaces and rental units.
  • Support community events and activities by assisting with clean-up efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and maintain a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures and generate reports as required.
  • Keep work areas organized and clean.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in reading and understanding English.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs or more using proper techniques.
  • Flexibility to change tasks frequently and manage interruptions.
  • Skilled in using cleaning equipment and agents effectively.
  • Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Availability for morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and personal control in various situations.
