Commercial Account Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in the Boston Metro Area. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business and sales of high-end audio-visual systems. You will collaborate with our engineers and other team members to ensure the seamless delivery of our systems to clients and work on maintaining and expanding relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, internet research, and other means.
- Interface with customers to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements to identify solutions and business opportunities.
- Perform site visits to document field conditions, take pictures, verify room dimensions, and check above the ceiling.
- Document initial system descriptions and equipment lists and submit to engineers for finalization.
- Develop AV functional diagram sketches of major components.
- Generate proposals that include areas of concern, scope of service, schedule, and payment terms.
- Submit sales order packages, including POs, signed proposals, equipment lists, major contractors, and schedules.
- Manage and oversee proposal content and prepare orders as required.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and expand sales within an assigned territory.
- Forecast demand for products within the assigned territory.
- Serve as a point of escalation for issues or activities that customers encounter during product utilization.
- Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations.

Requirements:
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- 0-2 years of low voltage, audio-video, lighting, and/or shades sales experience in a commercial or residential sales environment.
- Annual quota of $1M.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel may be required dependent on business needs.
