Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Jenkat Painting LLC. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for estimating the cost of residential and commercial projects, working with computer software to produce accurate estimates, and tracking and pricing addendums and RFI requests.

About the Role

As a Construction Estimator, you will work closely with our project managers and estimators to develop and maintain accurate estimates for our projects. You will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine the scope of work and estimate the costs associated with each project.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate the cost of residential and commercial projects
  • Work with computer software to produce accurate estimates
  • Track and price addendums and RFI requests
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to develop and maintain accurate estimates
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will also need to be proficient in computer software, particularly Planswift.
