Responsibilities
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including brooms, brushes, mops, and power scrubbers, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Set up and arrange furniture and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Follow safe handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities or Building Principal.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prefer at least 1 year of custodial experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
