Position Summary:

We are seeking an Outbound Appointment Setter to drive business growth through effective communication and relationship-building. The ideal candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls to existing customers and prospects to generate interest in our calibration services and schedule appointments for our outside sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to promote additional calibration services and follow-up on opportunities.
  • Reach out to new prospects to introduce FPT's products and services and schedule appointments for outside sales reps.
  • Identify customer needs and align our services to meet those needs.
  • Manage and maintain a database of leads and contacts in CRM software.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth scheduling and follow-up on appointments.
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly call and appointment goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Ability to handle rejection professionally and stay focused on goals.
  • Basic understanding of industrial tools or calibration services is a plus, but not required.
