Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Planner to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and defining systems, functions, process, and user needs for a wide variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and define systems, functions, process, and user needs for a wide variety of projects
  • Perform technical assessments aimed at improving client systems and updates system requirements based on changes in operations or policy
  • Create documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides
  • Analyze and perform functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships, incorporates user needs, and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects
  • Identify and recommend resources required for task execution and completion
  • Develop new systems or updates existing systems to meet client needs
  • Serve as technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation
  • Generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel
  • Consult with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects
  • Identify emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems
  • Write and update project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials
  • Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities
  • May serve as technical team or task lead
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Provide excellent analytical solutions to problems and effectively communicate them to the customer and team
Requirements
  • BS degree in a related field
  • 5 years of experience
  • At least 4 years of related experience of intensive and progressive experience in the candidate's field of study and specialization
  • Working knowledge of network and information exchange technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, RESTful, SOAP, HTTP)
  • Familiarity with system engineering processes and techniques
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Certification(s): DoD M IAT II
  • Clearance: Top Secret or higher
