Position Summary: We are looking for a talented Culinary Specialist to contribute to our culinary operations at Dimension Hospitality. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional food quality swiftly and accurately to align with operational demands and supervisory expectations. Your responsibilities will include preparing individual orders and assisting with buffet setups, banquets, salad bars, and hors d'oeuvres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate each shift by preparing and organizing your station for efficient service.
  • Prepare all necessary components for sauces, soups, and buffet dishes to meet scheduled service times.
  • Adjust the line and steam table layout to optimize cooking and service during lunch hours.
  • Ensure all orders are prepared promptly and to the highest quality standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with menus, recipes, preparation techniques, and presentation styles.
  • Maintain proper food storage practices, ensuring all items are kept in suitable containers and at appropriate temperatures.
  • Cook only the required amount of food in advance to meet anticipated demand while preserving quality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.
  • Assist in food preparation for other kitchen departments as necessary.
  • Prepare food items for the subsequent shift and the following day as directed by your supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness in your work area and adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.

Required Skills:

  1. Proficient in food preparation techniques and standards.
  2. Ability to skillfully operate kitchen tools and equipment with precision.
  3. Capable of using basic math and geometry to determine material needs and dimensions.
  4. Ability to read and interpret recipes accurately.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
