Position Responsibilities
The Mortgage Banking Specialist is chiefly tasked with the origination of new mortgage loans, encompassing a diverse array of financing options. Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships internally and externally to achieve long-term sales success.

- Gather and evaluate financial information from clients to assess loan eligibility and perform necessary calculations to determine investment viability.
Qualifications
This role typically requires a high school diploma along with 2-3 years of relevant experience in mortgage loan origination.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations (FHA, VA, Conventional, FHLMC, FNMA, and private investors).
- Comprehensive understanding of secondary marketing, insurance, and post-closing processes.
- Familiarity with various state lending laws.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective oral and written communication, sales acumen, and customer relations expertise.
- NMLS certification is mandatory.
