RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains a comprehensive Daily Attendance Record for educators, tracking staff hours and coordinating with the Assistant Principal regarding substitute teacher needs.
- Ensures the PowerSchool system is accurately updated with current student information.
- Keeps detailed and current records of school personnel.
- Handles word processing, typing, and proofreading of letters, documents, and memoranda that require a higher level of complexity from clear drafts, recordings, or self-generated data.
- Processes School TLM Payroll and supplemental payments, ensuring timely submission to the Payroll Department.
- Prepares requisitions in MUNIS and manages purchase order documentation.
- Greets visitors, addresses their inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate staff member.
- Operates fax and copying equipment to reproduce various forms, bulletins, and notices.
- Organizes and maintains office filing systems.
- Handles telephone communications, takes messages, and forwards them to the relevant personnel.
- Provides assistance to the Principal, Assistant Principal, and other office staff as needed.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by the Principal and Assistant Principals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Civil Service Eligibility.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in typing, word processing, and proofreading documents of considerable complexity.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to perform responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to adhere to a schedule aligned with school hours.
- Must be a resident of the local area.
