Job Overview

HME Specialists LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing quality respiratory care and support to our patients.

We strive to deliver exceptional care and services to our customers, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to help us achieve this goal. As a Part Time Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, verifying insurance, and obtaining prior authorizations.

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid RRT/CRT license and a current NM RCP license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential for this position, as you will be interacting with patients, insurance providers, and referral sources on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient accounts and ensure timely follow-up with insurance providers
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations
  • Work closely with referral sources to ensure a smooth and efficient process for our patients
  • Provide quality respiratory care and support to our patients
Requirements
  • RRT/CRT and current NM RCP license required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
