Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

At CHRISTUS Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for assessing, administering, and monitoring therapy and objective measurement for respiratory care procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer and monitor respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program for registered respiratory therapists
  • Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
  • Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Manual dexterity to provide respiratory therapy and operate equipment
  • Experience in all age-specific competency groups preferred
Working Conditions:

Routine exposure to aerosol or serum-borne pathogens. Bloodborne pathogen exposure is also possible.
