Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities, managing ventilators, implementing cardio respiratory protocols, and performing advanced airway care.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities, including managing ventilators and implementing cardio respiratory protocols.
- Perform advanced airway care, including tracheotomy changes, extubation, and intubation.
- Initiate and monitor high frequency ventilators.
- Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures under departmental policy.
- Initiate and monitor nitric oxide delivery.
- Two to three years of college-level courses or an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care.
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License and Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
- ACLS and/or PALS, BLS required.
- Six months to one year of critical care experience preferred.
