Patient Care Coordinator Associate

Key Responsibilities:- Greet visitors and patients in person, providing excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively by telephone or video conferencing, upholding high standards of customer service.
- Handle confidential information appropriately, protecting and disclosing information only to authorized personnel.
- Prioritize tasks by assessing and analyzing information to identify immediate emergency needs.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and competence in departmental procedures.
- Enter and update patient demographic and financial information, ensuring patients are fully registered as early in the process as possible.
- Obtain necessary applications and forms, confirming signatures are on file, and photocopy/scanning documents as needed.
- Provide patients with financial responsibility information and collect patient liabilities, documenting amounts in the appropriate fields, and balancing the cash box daily.
- Collaborate with partnering departments to ensure all aspects of the patient's encounter are completed as needed.
- Provide wayfinding instructions and assist with hospital information as requested.
- Coordinate patient admission needs, bed assignments, and tracking boards where applicable.
- Meet or exceed audit accuracy standards, working worklists and error reports timely, and proactively seeking assistance to resolve as needed.

- High School Diploma / GED (or higher).
- 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or professional work environment.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work a 2-week rotation (Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday - 11 PM - 7 AM CST; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday - 11 PM - 7 AM CST).
- Ability to work rotating holidays.
- Ability to complete 6-8 weeks of training during 1st shift hours.
- Must be 18 years or older.
