Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry? As a Patient Care Coordinator Associate with UnitedHealth Group, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in our medical offices.

About the Role:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience in our offices.
  • Enter and update patient demographic and financial information, ensuring accurate registration and billing processes.
  • Obtain and verify patient information, including applications and forms, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect patient liabilities and balance cash boxes daily, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care, including admission, bed assignments, and tracking.
  • Meet or exceed audit accuracy standards, working closely with colleagues to resolve errors and improve processes.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting or professional environment.
  • Beginner-level proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a medical office or hospital admitting/registration office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems.
