Job Summary

The VP/Relationship Manager will serve as the primary advisor for our business clients, focusing on building and developing relationships. This role involves examining, evaluating, and recommending approval of client applications for various bank products, including commercial lines of credit, term loans, letters of credit, real estate loans, and flat notes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to our business clients, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine the feasibility of granting loans.
  • Business Development: Conduct business development and actively engage in community investment, analyzing potential markets to develop prospects for loans and deposits.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate risk and lead with a customer-centric focus, independently negotiating structure and pricing of complex credit facilities and presenting credits to the Loan Committee for approval.
  • Portfolio Management: Maintain and service existing portfolio, ensuring delinquencies and classified loans are minimized and monitoring borrowers' financial condition for compliance with loan covenants.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Masterful relationship building and business development skills, with strong influential and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with knowledge of unique industries and markets, as well as a broad understanding of business banking products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of external and internal clients.
  • Proven time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and make necessary decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Compliance Responsibilities

The employee is responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of job-related laws and regulations, maintaining current compliance knowledge through training seminars and staff meetings, and reading pertinent compliance-related materials.
