Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Welcoming patients and preparing them for healthcare visits
    • Obtaining medical histories and verifying patient information
    • Documenting vital signs and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Administrative Support
    • Assisting healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments
    • Performing point-of-care tests and maintaining supplies
    • Disinfecting and cleaning treatment rooms
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicating effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues
    • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT)
    • Nationally recognized certifications (e.g., CMA) preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic computer skills and experience with EMR systems
