Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) to enhance our Allergy department. This full-time position includes 32 hours of work per week, comprising 28 hours of patient interaction and 4 hours dedicated to administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and preventive screenings to identify health risks.
  • Develop accurate physical diagnoses based on clinical evaluations.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests within the scope of practice.
  • Document all clinical findings promptly and ensure accurate billing processes.
  • Execute advanced technical procedures as permitted by clinical practice guidelines.
  • Design and implement treatment plans, including medication management, while adhering to state regulations.
  • Establish follow-up protocols to evaluate care plans and adjust as necessary, coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure adequate patient and family education for effective management of health conditions.
  • Provide guidance to Medical Assistants supporting the Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Possession of an active Colorado State License with unrestricted DEA registration.
  • Board Certification is required.
  • Must fulfill hospital credentialing requirements.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Practitioner in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from $48 to $53, commensurate with experience.
