Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Investment Fund Financial Specialist to join our dynamic team in the commercial real estate sector. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in finance, focusing on journal entries, year-end audits, year-end tax reports, and cash flow analysis. Key Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Investment Fund Financial Specialist, you will be integral to our financial department. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and maintaining precise journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
2. Conducting year-end audits, reviewing financial statements, and identifying discrepancies or areas for enhancement.
3. Preparing year-end tax reports, ensuring all financial information is accurately reported and compliant with tax regulations.
4. Performing cash flow analysis, monitoring liquidity, and providing recommendations for enhancing financial efficiency.
5. Collaborating with other financial team members to develop and implement financial strategies and objectives.
6. Staying informed about industry trends, changes in tax laws, and financial regulations, ensuring our organization remains compliant at all times.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Investment Fund Financial Specialist role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the real estate sector.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, including journal entries, year-end audits, year-end tax reports, and cash flow analysis.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the capability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate, actionable insights.
5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information to non-financial team members.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
8. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
