Are you prepared to elevate your career? We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Family Accounting Manager who possesses a professional demeanor, strong motivation, and the capability to manage a diverse workload while supporting multiple team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and enforce adherence to policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis conducted by the team.
  • Establish new entities in accordance with ownership requirements.
  • Serve as the primary resource for the team regarding technical and accounting inquiries.
  • Align team objectives with those of other departments to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Engage in department-wide strategy discussions to contribute to the achievement of company objectives.
  • Act as the liaison between the accounting team and ownership to ensure satisfaction.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the property management sector is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Capability to manage multiple team members effectively.
  • Professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to enterprise software; experience with Yardi is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills with property management teams and company leadership.
  • Flexibility to respond to unexpected changes in workload, emergencies, and priority situations.
