Palliative Care Physician Opportunity

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a skilled Palliative Care Physician to join our team. As a member of our Palliative Care service line, you will provide specialty care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on relief from pain and symptoms, and improving quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide palliative care to patients with serious illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, and lung disease.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Manage pain and symptoms, and provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Palliative Medicine or a related field.
  • Completion of a Palliative Care Fellowship program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
