Palliative Care Division Chief Opportunity

The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Division Chief of Palliative Care. As a key member of the Department of Medicine, the successful candidate will oversee the growth and expansion of the Division's established programs, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Division of Palliative Care in achieving its strategic goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement innovative programs and services to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders and faculty to advance the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Department of Medicine
  • Recruit and mentor faculty and advanced practice practitioners to support the growth of the Division
  • Interface with other divisions and departments to ensure seamless integration of palliative care services

Requirements:
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • NYS Medical licensure
  • Board Certification in Palliative Care
