BeBright operates as a shared service partner (SSP) dedicated to providing centralized business support to Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic practices across various operational areas. Our headquarters are located in Minnetonka, MN, serving practices nationwide.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Payment Posting:

Precisely record payments received from dental insurance claims into the billing system, ensuring that all payments are allocated to the appropriate patient accounts and claims.

Reconciliation:

Conduct reconciliation of payments received against bank deposits to confirm accuracy and completeness. This includes comparing entries in the Practice Management System (PMS) with corresponding bank deposits and addressing any discrepancies swiftly.

Accounts Receivable Management:

Oversee and manage outstanding accounts receivable from payors, following up on unpaid or underpaid claims to ensure prompt resolution. Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve any payment-related issues or disputes.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive and precise records of payment transactions, bank deposits, and reconciliation efforts. Prepare reports detailing payment posting, reconciliation status, and accounts receivable aging for management review.

Process Enhancement:

Identify and propose opportunities for improving processes related to payment posting and reconciliation workflows. Work alongside cross-functional teams to implement enhancements aimed at optimizing efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, ideally within a dental office environment.
  • Proficient in dental billing software (e.g., Open Dental) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, coding (CDT), and insurance claims processes specific to pediatric dentistry.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) is a plus.
