COMPENSATION:
Hourly Rate: $15
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The primary role of the Client Services Coordinator is to deliver exceptional customer support to our clients. This position requires outstanding communication skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to empathize with our customers. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking and demonstrating excellent follow-through on various inquiries and issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage incoming calls and provide coverage within the service queue.
  • Send reports through automated and manual methods.
  • Process requests for test modifications, including additions and cancellations.
  • Handle supply orders efficiently.
  • Explain laboratory tests, methodologies, and profiles clearly to clients.
  • Communicate proper specimen handling requirements accurately.
  • Relay test turnaround times effectively.
  • Provide test results over the phone when requested.
  • Verify client information by locating and pulling test request forms.
  • Navigating Antrim and Atlas software systems proficiently.
  • Document detailed notes within accessions.
  • Transfer complex cases to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of laboratory operations.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service, veterinary, medical, or laboratory settings is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a veterinary technician, laboratory technician, or medical assistant is advantageous.
  • Related educational background in veterinary science or biology is beneficial.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain an average queue availability of at least 65%.
  • Handle an average of no less than 18 calls per hour.
  • Achieve a score of 90% or higher on all written assessments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The role is primarily office-based, involving extensive use of computers and telecommunication systems. The environment is typically moderate in noise level, with minimal temperature extremes. Employees are expected to engage with various office equipment, including calculators, fax machines, and copy machines.
