Certified Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking applications for the NURSE PRACTITIONER role. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the medical provider team to deliver healthcare services to the patients at the Community Health Center. This position entails providing medical care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, contributing to the planning and execution of primary care service delivery as per established healthcare protocols, and offering comprehensive care, including counseling and referrals within a multidisciplinary framework.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated nursing experience with a minimum of three years in a healthcare setting.
  • Thorough understanding of clinical procedures and quality improvement standards in patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Commitment to staying updated with evolving nursing standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and personnel development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and capacity to manage stress effectively.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and possess current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification in a specialty area.
  • Active AANP certification.
  • Provider Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
  • Background check is a prerequisite.
  • TB Skin and Drug Test are required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
