Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center, Inc. is currently seeking applications for the NURSE PRACTITIONER role. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the medical provider team to deliver comprehensive medical services to our patients. This position involves providing healthcare services aligned with the practitioner's education and adhering to the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning and execution of primary care service delivery in accordance with established healthcare plans and protocols, as well as offering primary, secondary, and tertiary care, including counseling and referrals within a multidisciplinary framework.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated nursing experience with a minimum of three years in a healthcare setting.
- Thorough understanding of clinical procedures and quality improvement measures in patient care.
- Strong knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in the healthcare sector.
- Commitment to staying updated on evolving nursing standards.
- Exceptional leadership and personnel development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage stress effectively.
- Proficient problem-solving aptitude.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification in the relevant specialty area.
- Valid AANP certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
- Background check is required.
- TB Skin and Drug Testing is required.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
