We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Aspire Health Partners. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and medical components of our programming.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ongoing education to staff by introducing new information and in-service as needed.
- Participate in nursing evaluations and monitor unit compliance with established protocols.
- Participate in client treatment planning sessions and assist in monitoring development of treatment plans and nursing interventions.
- Ensure review of client charts for accuracy on a routine basis.
- Assist with the interviewing, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
- Identify appropriate credentials and work history to fulfill the job requirements.
- Ensure safe, quality, efficient, economical, and individualized patient care within established standards of practice.
- Work in conjunction with other members of management to coordinate client care in a therapeutic environment.
- Comply with all regulatory and accrediting requirements to ensure effective infection control and provide a clean and safe environment.
- Participate in budget preparations and committee functions as assigned.
- Plan and coordinate nursing unit Performance Improvement activities and report results to Administration.
- Assume responsibility for staff development, identification of risk management issues, policies, guidelines, safety, and infection control issues, and monitoring of staff attendance at mandatory meetings.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures, safety guidelines, business ethics, and dress code.
- Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Assume responsibility for professional growth and continuing education.
