About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate II - Loss Prevention to join our team at TJX Companies, Inc. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Deterrent: Maintain a professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers appropriately, demonstrate courtesy and respect, and respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service.
  • Loss Prevention: Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management, and perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
  • Adherence to Company Policy: Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure, and document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and perform well independently.
  • Decision Making: Demonstrate sound decision-making skills, prioritizing and organizing workload effectively.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of retail or security experience.
