We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Client Relations Paralegal to join our thriving law firm, Trust Counsel PL, which specializes in estate planning and asset protection. This role is integral to our operations, as you will work closely with our estate planning attorneys and the Director of Planning.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain a strong rapport with clients from the moment they engage with our firm until their representation concludes. This position requires a friendly demeanor, sharp analytical skills, and the confidence to handle various tasks effectively.
This is an in-office opportunity with long-term career growth potential.
Compensation:$50,000 - $75,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review documentation to ensure alignment with client specifications and requirements.
- Address client inquiries and confirm details to facilitate smooth communication.
- Utilize specialized software to draft essential estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, and ancillary legal instruments.
- Design and present comprehensive estate plans and related materials to clients.
- Manage corporate formations and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Assist in obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) and complete necessary forms.
- Lead client signing meetings and oversee the notarization of documents.
- Guide clients in the proper titling and naming of their assets.
- Maintain various databases and software systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a professional appearance.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning as a paralegal.
- Proficient in managing multiple databases and legal software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
- Professional demeanor and responsible attitude.
