Job Title: HR Benefits Partner

Nixon Medical is seeking a highly skilled HR Benefits Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for administering, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on associate benefit programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer group insurance programs, including health, vision, prescription, dental, and life insurance.
  • Handle associate claims resolution, process benefit changes, and ensure timely invoice resolution and approval.
  • Monitor federal, state, and local benefit regulations and advise management on compliance issues.
  • Manage human capital management (HCM) systems, generating reports for analytics and providing insights on benefits program utilization and costs.
  • Monitor associate benefit eligibility requirements and ensure timely enrollment and removal from benefit programs.
  • Administer the company's 401(k) program, ensuring proper enrollment and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Oversee COBRA administration and manage third-party vendors.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with state laws.
  • Administer the company's wellness program and drive initiatives that promote associate health and well-being.
  • Prepare and manage statistical data, census information, and reports for insurance carriers, auditors, and management.
Requirements:
  • At least 4+ years of experience in benefits administration with a related degree or 8+ years of experience with an unrelated degree.
  • Strong understanding of benefits administration processes and procedures.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal laws related to benefits, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in Excel and HCM systems.
