As a Prescriber Documentation Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our mission by:

  • Supporting the collection of physician documents as required.
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a competitive market.
  • Reviewing and analyzing payer-specific requirements to determine necessary physician documentation.
  • Escalating issues to customers or field personnel when needed to obtain required physician documentation.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience making outbound calls to and receiving inbound calls from healthcare professionals.
  • One year of sales and/or collections experience.
  • Two years of experience working in a medical environment.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records systems to access and update patient information.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards governing patient privacy and healthcare billing practices.

This position requires strong analytical thinking, prioritization, clear communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. You'll also need attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage work efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Work remotely from San Antonio, TX, or Charlotte, NC, areas. Travel may include up to 2% domestic. Salary: $42,715 - $52,208 per annum, including base pay and variable incentive pay.
