Job Description

We are currently hiring a Medical Scribe Transcriptionist in Houston, TX, with a salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

The successful candidate will possess completion of an accredited program in nursing and extensive medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with medical records staff to identify, collect, organize, and review electronic or paper medical records.
  • Prepare detailed case analyses in Microsoft Word for medical records reviewers.
  • Upload documentation into the MET portal for assigned physicians to review.
  • Communicate with physicians and attorneys regarding clinical reviews of records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited program in nursing
  • Extensive medical terminology knowledge
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
