Key Responsibilities- Member Service: Provide accurate, prompt, and professional member service while promoting credit union services.
- Sales and Marketing: Actively participate in branch efforts to meet or exceed assigned production goals, including telemarketing, in-branch promos, cross-selling, and up-selling.
- Operations: Perform accurate complex input/output functions on credit union computer systems, including account, loan, and general ledger postings.
- Security and Compliance: Maintain the security of all cash, deposited items, and negotiable instruments, and ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with a wide range of personality types, both verbally and in writing, and present in an effective manner.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors, and provide accurate, prompt, courteous, and efficient service to credit union members.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous cash handling experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs are preferred.
- Training: Successful completion of required training courses per the Career Path Program is required.
- Continuous standing or sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
- Reach across the teller station counter to comfortably count out/hand cash to members.
- Intermittent bending, squatting, and walking.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds.
Sierra Central Credit Union offers a competitive salary range of $19.56 - $25.00 an hour, depending on experience, along with a great choice of benefits for full-time and part-time employees.
