Clinical Psychologist Senior

As a Senior Psychologist, you will assume a leadership role in delivering a specific psychological program, ensuring the optimal provision of psychological assessment and treatment for a targeted population. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the program's direction and ensuring its success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, treatments, and education to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement effective psychotherapy treatment plans for individuals, groups, and families.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient communications and adhere to established policies.
- Collaborate with Clinical Nurses and therapists to develop and implement treatment programs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify or extend treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and consultations.
- Develop and implement testing methods and techniques for psychological assessment.
- Establish and implement protocols for specific treatments and patient groups.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of quality assurance within the department.
- Design, implement, and monitor behavioral management programs.
Patient Group Knowledge: You must possess and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care for the defined patient age group.
Specifically, you must be able to:
- Obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development.
- Understand the range of treatment needed by the patient group.
Competency Validation: You must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department-specific competency checklist.
Common Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and document all applicable required information.
- Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker interactions.
- Comply with the company's attendance policy.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Perform work in a cost-effective manner.
- Perform work in accordance with departmental pay practices and scheduling policies.
- Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
