Job Summary

As a Senior Psychologist at CAMC Health System, you will assume a leadership role in delivering a specific psychological program, ensuring the optimal provision of psychological assessment and treatment for a targeted population. Your responsibilities will include providing psychological assessment, treatment, and education to patients and their families, as well as collaborating with Clinical Nurses and therapists to develop and implement treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment, treatment, and education to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs in collaboration with Clinical Nurses and therapists.
  • Assess patient progress and modify or extend treatment programs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and consultations.
  • Develop and implement testing methods and techniques for psychological assessment.
  • Establish and institute protocols for specific treatments and patient groups.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to improve departmental performance.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology (required).
  • Licensed Psychologist (required).
  • Credentialed through Medical Affairs (required).
Work Environment

This position is located at the Women & Children's Hospital and requires a full-time commitment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
