Position: Customer Service Associate (Seasonal)
Classification: Non-exempt, Temporary Full-time or Part-Time
Compensation: $20-$22, based on experience
Reporting To: Channel Sales Supervisor
Work Environment: Office setting
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties of the Customer Service Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Sales & Customer Service Team with various projects related to Corporate and Online sales.
- Responding to and following up on customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Identifying and resolving customer service and sales-related issues.
- Processing orders received through online and telephone channels.
- Addressing shipping concerns to guarantee timely and safe delivery.
- Coordinating special requests, updates, or last-minute modifications to orders.
- Supporting the creation of marketing materials and other reproduction tasks.
- Welcoming visitors to the office and aiding customers with their orders.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or order processing role.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual; must adhere to the established schedule.
- Ability to work the following schedule:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week, including weekdays and some weekends.
- Part-time: 20-30 hours per week, with preferred availability on weekdays and weekends.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting shipping issues with carriers is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
