Job Overview

The System Designer is a key member of the Techifi team, responsible for designing and implementing residential electrical and low-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver project documents, including wiring designs, layouts, and programming requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, field personnel, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely completion and delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical support to installation and procurement teams, as well as sales support to sales team members and clients.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to system designs.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential electronic systems design and installation.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in D-Tools, Bluebeam, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to read and understand technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience working with Control4 and custom networking is preferred.

Travel:

  • Some travel may be required for project meetings or training purposes.
