Job Title: Associate Director for Student Life, Fraternity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Student Affairs professional to lead our fraternity and sorority community. The Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life will provide strategic vision, leadership, support, and training to promote a culture of inclusiveness, excellence, and the ideals of scholarship, service, leadership, and personal accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support two AP Faculty Coordinator positions and indirectly supervise two Graduate Assistants and several undergraduate student positions.
  • Develop and implement educational, developmental, risk prevention, and management programs such as "Stop the Haze" and "Good Neighbor Program".
  • Assist councils and chapters with achieving philanthropic goals, engaging in community service, and building connections with local community.
  • Develop and implement strategies in addressing unrecognized organizations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as advisors, IHQ representatives, campus partners, and community members.
  • Assist the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices as they manage the student organization accountability process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated previous professional experience working with fraternities and sororities.
  • Experience developing, communicating, and achieving organizational mission and vision.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and working to support the diverse needs of a college student population.
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of relevant legislation and risk management and prevention in a fraternity and sorority and residential university setting.
  • Ability to apply student development theory in managing student staff and developing and implementing educational programs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, or related field.
  • Multiple years of increasingly responsible supervisory experience.
