Position Summary
The Personal Insurance Account Executive at Ackerman Insurance Group Inc is tasked with nurturing and enhancing profitable connections with personal insurance clients while expanding the business portfolio through new client acquisition and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and cultivate personal insurance prospects with both new and existing clients through various channels including in-office meetings, online interactions, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Build and sustain exceptional relationships with clients and prospects via consistent follow-ups, precise and prompt quotations, and comprehensive account support.
- Proactively seek opportunities for account growth and solicit enhancements in existing client coverage while networking for new clients.
- Secure optimal coverage and rates for clients, process quotations, and finalize insurance coverage; follow up as needed with inspections, photographs, and additional documentation. Present policies to clients and provide education on coverages and pricing.
- Assist clients with renewals, retention efforts, and uphold strong client relationships.
- Anticipate, address, and follow up on all client inquiries and needs.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on essential metrics to ensure sales objectives are met, and maintain timely, accurate, and professional sales activity documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in both formal and informal meetings as required.
- Maintain continuing education and stay updated on industry trends, new product offerings, legislation, coverages, and technology to enhance knowledge and performance.
Qualifications:
- Possess the necessary insurance license as mandated by your state and have a minimum of two years of experience in personal insurance account management, along with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of insurance products, rating and underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and manage an existing client portfolio.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in business-to-business sales. Exhibit strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities with a proven capacity to close sales.
- Be client-oriented, ethical, and assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing current clients.
- Show exceptional organizational skills with the capability to complete complex tasks independently, sound business judgment, strong decision-making abilities, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess excellent time management skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate proficiency with technology and computer systems, including agency management software.
