Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at ProMed Molded Products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to new component development, including silicone, plastic, and value-added projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management for various projects at ProMed, including new technology, capital equipment purchases, and new product/project development.
  • Project planning, execution, and status reporting.
  • Customer communication and coordination.
  • Developing and troubleshooting processes, including material preparation, insert preparation, and priming.
  • Designing fixtures and tooling to facilitate product development.
  • Writing validation and qualification project reports.
  • Investigating root cause analysis and implementing corrective action.
  • Qualifying and validating processes and equipment to meet customer and ProMed objectives.
  • Implementing and supporting research and development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree with a medical device-related background or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing/process development environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.
  • Experience managing multi-discipline teams and projects.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in PC, Word Processing, Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, Blue Print Reading, SPC, SQCpack, and design of methodology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to design and qualify tooling, fixtures, and processes used to produce silicone, plastic, and value-added molded components.
  • Demonstrated communication skills for making persuasive presentations.
  • Strong knowledge and first-hand experience in the processing and assembly of silicone and plastic components consumed within the medical device industry.
