Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Unit

The HICU is a 20-bed unit that provides ventilator and pulmonary care, as well as acute rehabilitation services. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes, and we are looking for a LPN who shares our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patient status and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse or Director of Nursing
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a current LPN license and AHA BLS CPR certification. You should also have basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
