The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Cardiometabolic sales team in Kansas City, MO. This role will cover the Kansas and MO geography, requiring approximately 40% overnight travel. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to capitalize on sales opportunities, establish and maintain business relationships, and contribute to the region's growth.
About the RoleAs a Senior Sales Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying sales opportunities and implementing effective strategies to capitalize on them.
- Establishing and developing business relationships with clients, ensuring strong communication and trust-building skills.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Abbott's products and services, as well as industry trends and competitor activity.
- Implementing sales, marketing, and national account programs as directed by management, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences, using this insight to inform sales approaches and recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or Life Science.
- At least 6 years of experience in medical diagnostics or business-to-business sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies, as well as negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with distribution partners, negotiate contracts, and prepare proposals and bids.
